Friday the 13th, starting at Sundown
This weekend only. An ALL NEW mini event that will start every hour… and why did someone put in a request for 30,000 giant Deady costumes and an 75% destructable island map?

Play by Play
Oh no! Our alarms did not go off this morning… this is terrible. The team is working on tonight’s hourly mini-event now. Here is the play by play as we prepare for tonight’s release.

5:42pm Rebooting the servers to bring up the release—Hold onto your helms!!!!
5:30pm The 1st Friday the 13th Hourly Mini-event will begin in 30 minutes!
5:15pm 45 minutes until the 1st event…. we are cutting this one a weeeeeeee bit close!
5:00pm We are calling the issue… erm.. feature… where your hair shows up on the Deady suits eye… an “Eye Wig”
4:30pm Safiria is calling Voltaire and will likely say, “Hey! We are 1.5 hours from release. We are not done yet and nothing has been tested. All things considered, we are ahead of schedule!”
4:00 pm It is getting close to 6pm…. nothing is ready yet, Voltaire has not seen the final version of the event yet (or any version) and Artix keeps wanting to add new stuff — DOOOOOM! (The madness starts at Sundown)
3:30 pm Player hair is burstng through the giant Deady Costume heads… we have no solution for this issue. Who is up for a “Crazy floating hair on your Deady helm FEATURE“?
2:13 pm Cysero just finished the mini-event cutscene. Also, the concert part timers are now functioning properly! We are putting in the animations now! Zhoom added the new servers. We are switching Galanoth server to Evil Sir Ver for tonight’s event.
1:13 pm Less than 5 hours until the event…
12:45 pm Added explosions to the intro part of the stage, but it seems the code blew up instead! Mini show status: not functional… this is bad.
12:00 pm Only 6-ish hours until release. The concert is breaking, the deady costumes are only hald loading, and we have not yet gotten to show Voltaire what we made… *gulps*
11:30pm Added “Friday the 13th Achievement” if you attend one of the mini-concerts and get Voltaire’s autograph at the end. Added to the book of lore, and Miko is going to add it to your character pages.
11:00 am Zhoom arrives. We are adding TWO NEW servers. The first is Galanoth and we need your help deciding between naming the new moglin safe server either Truffle or Kabroz
10:45am Cysero is working on the Deady quest while Artix works on the the stage. Miltonius sent a MUCH more monsterous version of Deady and J6 sent over some explosions.
10:15am The hourly timer broke and the songs are playing backwards
9:30am Artix and Galanoth arrive… they picked up coffee but some of it spilled when they hit a bump in the road.
7:00am Cysero arrives at Secret Underground Lab… all alone.
